Ayurvedic Shampoo Bar

Be eco-conscious and toss the idea of shampoo in a bottle. This vegan solid shampoo bar will leave your hair feeling thick and full of bounce. Just take the bar and rub it against your wet hair a few times and you will get a head full of lather. This soap is made with olive oil infused with tusli, shikakai, bhringraj, and aritha. These herbs have been used in Ayurvedic medicine for hundreds of years to keep hair healthy and youthful. Tulsi is known to relieve dandruff. Shikakai is referred to as the “fruit of the hair”. It is used in India as a traditional shampoo. Bhringraj is thought to prevent hair loss and premature graying. Aritha is also referred to as soapnut. It has natural saponin in it that helps to boost lather in this bar. This soap was intended to be used as a shampoo bar, but it is very versatile and will work great on your body or face.

This soap is no longer in Ladybug shape, it is now a rectangular shape. Each bar weighs approximately 4 ounces. Bars are individually hand cut and each will vary slightly in weight.

All soaps are handmade using the cold process method.

Ingredients: Olive oil infused with tusli, shikakai, bhringraj, and aritha, water, coconut oil, sodium hydroxide, jojoba oil, castor oil, honeyquat, panthenol, lime essential oil, and basil essential oil.
